THE TEAM

nic-headshot-2

Nic

Nicolas Guzman is a Pendleton, SC native and 2011 Johnson & Wales University graduate. He began his first restaurant job at age 15 and never stopped cooking, even as he worked his way through his B.A. in Political Science at Clemson University. Since graduating from JWU in Charlotte, Nic has honed his craft in restaurants, food trucks, and clubs across the country from Martha’s Vineyard, MA to Saint Louis, MO. He is happy to be back home, and excited to showcase his passion for great Southern food and flavors.

Lee-Head-Shot

Lee

Lee Marchbanks has over 10 years experience in the restaurant industry. Lee’s expertise in southern cuisine and BBQ are a product of his dedication to preserving southern food traditions through recipes, local farms, and cooking techniques. Lee began cooking in restaurants while studying music composition at the College of Charleston. Having decided he was much more passionate about food than about music, Lee continued his culinary career in Charleston and then in Denver. Lee is excited to call Brevard home and to be a part of the rich culinary traditions of the community.

Leslie-headshot

Leslie

Leslie Guzman has loved food her entire life. Born in Sylva, NC and raised in Owensboro, KY, her Southern roots have instilled a deep respect for great food and hospitality. She attended culinary school at Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI, obtaining her A.S. in Culinary Arts and B.S. in Culinary Nutrition. She then went on to St. Louis University for graduate school, becoming a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist in 2012. On the way, she cooked in clubs and restaurants around the country. Her background allows Leslie to be involved in all her favorite parts of the restaurant, from front of house management to dessert menu planning and even working with customers with specific dietary needs.
